Our Mission
 The Delaware Family Child Care Alliance is a statewide membership organization that exists to represent the needs interest and concerns of licensed childcare professionals in Delaware. Our mission is to:

  • Be a reliable resource for childcare providers regarding state policy initiatives and how they affect Child Care businesses.  
  • Pave the way for better relationships between providers, state officials and policy makers.
  • Educate the community about the unique qualities of family childcare.
  • Represent providers as a valuable component in Delaware’s system of early care and education of young children.

Our Vision
 To be a voice for family childcare providers who have had no voice in matters such as health care issues, representation at the state level and secured equal pay for equal work. Our Vision is to have an adequate networking and support system for all providers. Family Childcare Providers are our main concern; however our services are also extended to child care center workers who are vulnerable to these issues as well.

The more representation we have from family child care providers across the state, the more powerfully we can stand.
